Fox Business News (FBN) just pointed out a very impressive statistic about the Houston economy: it grew by a whopping 8.6 percent last year! And according to Forbes.com, Houston’s economy is “expected to expand 8.5 percent this year.”

These are absolutely breathtaking numbers, especially considering that the U.S. economy is projected to grow by 2 percent or less this year.

And that’s not all either. The short clip below highlights some of Houston’s other economic successes, like job growth and rising home values. Clearly, America’s fourth-largest city and the largest city in Texas is doing a lot of things right.
